A bottle warmer for home has one main job: to be ready when your baby is hungry. The LIINI® Home is an electric 230 V bottle warmer. It warms breast milk and formula directly in the bottle, without a water bath and without a battery you'd need to charge.
Bottle warmer without a water bath: what changes
With a water bath, you heat water, stand the bottle in it and keep checking the temperature. A bottle warmer like the LIINI® Home, on the other hand, warms the milk directly in the bottle with no decanting; all you do is choose the setting.
| Water bath | LIINI® Home |
|---|
| Temperature | by feel or with a thermometer | fixed settings: 37, 40, 45, 50 °C |
| Bottle afterwards | wet | dry |
| Water | fresh every time | not needed |
Which setting for which milk?
37 °C is the setting for breast milk. For formula, choose 40, 45 or 50 °C, depending on how warm your baby likes their bottle. If you don't select a setting within 30 seconds of switching it on, the Home switches off automatically. Quickly test the temperature on your wrist before feeding.
Swiss plug or EU plug?
The LIINI® Home comes in two versions: for Switzerland with a type J plug, and for Germany, Austria and the rest of the EU with a Schuko plug (type F). Choose the version for the country where the device will be used.
Combining bottle warmers for home and on the go
The LIINI® Home is a bottle warmer for indoor use. For days out, you need a battery-powered device, such as a portable bottle warmer. You can get both together in the Home & 2Go Bundle.
Home or night station?
Both LIINI® devices run on mains power, but they do different jobs. The Home warms a ready-made bottle of breast milk or formula whenever you need it. The night station is designed for formula at night: it keeps water in the bottle at drinking temperature until your baby is next hungry. You only add the formula powder just before feeding.
